What you are about to learn
Boldness may have other meanings to people, and it depends on how we take it. If we think of it negatively, you might believe that boldness is a noise, a public discourse, or putting someone down. If not by action, people thought of this mistakenly to describe someone like arrogance. Is that the true meaning of being bold?
No - None of that is boldness. That is the reason why our topic today is “Authentic Boldness.”
There is a place for boldness that is authentic, useful, and good that we might not know to exist. That is not arrogant or self-righteous.
Using this word - Clarity. The clarity in your thought, clarity in your mind, clarity of how you think, and clear what to do. Let me explain a little bit, to have a life of purpose. You have to be pretty clear about what you think. And if it is something that you believe in serving others with your divine gifts, then that would be, in line with how the divine operates. And so regardless of your spiritual persuasion, the Divine works in kindness, firmness, no question. But goodness, clarity, love. That is the framework in which boldness has power. Because if it isn't couched or cradled in the structure of love, then boldness is just shouting, boldness is arrogance and pushing us. But if it's cradled in the right framework of love and kindness, boldness is clarity and can be elevating.
Truth carries its Power - All that is required is a pure and simple truth—stated without fanfare, arrogance, and without shouting someone down or attempting to embarrass them. So boldly, living what you think to be accurate, carries 1000 times or a million times more power than shouting someone down, pounding the pulpit or the podium in some public discourse, that doesn't give any power. All that does is get ignored and should be ignored.
Boldness is most effective, and most powerful when cradled in love - So if you think about how God has treated us, and you think about that whatever divine teacher if you look back through history, Christ as one, there are others in other denominations. But those teachers, for the most part now, realize there may have been some notable exceptions but those teachers, regardless of the power and strength of the doctrine or things that they were teaching, taught, with love, they taught with tolerance. They trained with love.
Key takeaways
“The second important thing is to remember that truth carrying its power is best represented by how we live and how we act now. We hear the aphorism. Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
“So as you think about creating your ultimate life, which is the life that you want, have purpose, prosperity, and joy. How can you be authentically bold, in the container of love, so that you have the highest chance of both completing or furthering your ultimate life and living and being the kind of change you want to see in the world?”
