Episode 177 - It's A Lie
How often do you speak absolute truth?
In today’s episode, Kellan talks about truth. What is truth? Is there such a thing as truth? Kellan tells us it’s sometimes difficult to know what the truth is, and that we often find out that things we once held to be true aren’t so.
Truth, as defined in this episode, is the knowledge of things as they really are. Kellan reflects on some of the fundamental truths that affect our lives, and asks us to assess our own relationship with the truth: do we always speak and act in truth?
In contrast to truth, Kellan also talks about lying – lying to yourself, lying to others, and being lied to. He tells us that when we lie to ourselves about why we don’t accomplish our goals, we create bigger barriers than the actual barriers that we think stand in our way. Even with the best intentions, Kellan says we cause more harm when we lie to others.
When someone lies to you, it says more about them than it does about you, so let it be. Sticking to the truth is the fastest way to move toward your ultimate life.
