In this episode, we talk about something tender and sensitive. Forgiveness is one of the most misunderstood principles. People confuse it with absolution. They confuse it with condoning behavior or pretending something didn’t happen. In truth, it is none of those things. It is a cousin to love.

Choosing to forgive someone, whether you are forgiving yourself for things you did, or forgiving someone else for the evil perpetrated on you, you are allowing God, our creator, to manage the wheels of justice and mercy. Both principles are important, and we are capable of accuracy in neither case. Choosing forgiveness of yourself and others opens your heart to love and joy.
