Receiving is Good, #539

In this episode, we talk about the other side of the service coin. Often I hear talk about giving service of one kind or another. Universally, I also hear people find it difficult to receive. We have a stigma about receiving. Somehow we have the myth that everything is supposed to be done by us alone. 

A great example is God. He gives us air to breathe, sunrise and sunset daily. Seasons to grow and a space of life to live. We receive these as a right without much thought. Learning to graciously receive with gratitude is a sign of true power and confidence. It is also a recognition of our place in the grand scheme. We learn to give freely and receive graciously. This is a choice that creates balance and power.
